Monday
We depart for North Wales arrivinglate afternoon at our hotel for the next 4 nightswith dinner, bed and breakfast with tea/coffeeand Bara Brith served on arrival.
Tuesday
Today we join the famous Ffestiniog Railway for a spectacular rideover the mountains to Porthmadog where you can explore the town beforewe make our way through the Snowdonia National Park to Lake Bala for aride along the lake shore on the delightful Bala Lake Railway.
Wednedsay
Our excursion today takes us to the ancient and historic city ofChester where you have time to explore the city or shop till you drop in thefamous ‘Rows’ of two tiered shops in the pedestrianised centre.
Thursday
We see some lovely Welsh scenerytoday, including the spectacular HorseshoePass, to the Dee Valley where we join theRheilfford Llangollen Railway for a journeyon a nostalgic steam train and also take aride on the ‘Stream in the Sky’- theLlangollen Canal - gliding gently along overthe country’s biggest navigable viaduct.
Friday
After breakfast we departfor home.
