Friday
After depart and enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Cotswolds Countryside. Our first stop is Bourton-on-the-Water regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in England, enjoy some tranquil time by the River Windrush with its beautiful bridges. After spending some time here we move onto Stow-on-the-Wold, a quintessential English town with mellow Cotswold stone buildings, a fine selection of shops, chic bistros, Cotswold inns, and cozy tea shops. Afterward, we continue our journey to the Stratford Manor Hotel arriving for the next 3 nights with dinner, bed, and breakfast. Following dinner tonight enjoy an evening of entertainment.
Saturday
This morning we visit the Shakespearian town of Stratford upon Avon, with more than 800 years of history, the town is well known as the birthplace of the poet and playwright William Shakespeare. We take a short photo stop at Anne Hathaway's idyllic cottage. A 500-year-old cottage and the site on which William courted Anne who later became Mrs Shakespeare. After we journey into the centre of the town where the rest of the day is free for you to explore at leisure. Perhaps visit the house in which Shakespeare was born, take a gentle stroll along the river, or relax in one of the many coffee shops. We return to the hotel later to relax before tonight's dinner and entertainment.
Sunday
After a leisurely breakfast, we head for the station at Stratford-Upon-Avon where we will find the Shakespeare Express purring before it gathers all its energy to steam us through the countryside. Sunday lunch is provided on board as we are transported to a bygone era of Pullman Rail Travel. Enjoy the opulent carriage surroundings as you sit back and sink into your plush Pullman carriage seat. Later, we return to the hotel for the Bakers Dolphin summer brochure launch 2025 ! In the evening enjoy dinner followed by entertainment.
Monday
Departing the hotel this morning we head south west to the City of Gloucester. Where we make our way to the impressive Victorian Docks. Here we have time to explore the Gloucester Quays shopping centre, before we head home with fond memories of our Reunion Weekend.
