We depart and head to West Yorkshire and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.

During your stay
• The north Yorkshire market town of Settle,where we have a break and chance to lookround the interesting little town before weenjoy a ride on the Settle and Carlisle Railway,considered being one of England’s most scenicrail journeys.• Journey into Hawes, main town of the Dales.• Visit to the city of Ripon, with its magnificentcathedral well worth a visit.• We head off along the Aire Valley to Skipton -‘Gateway to the Dales’ where the main streethouses the well-known market and the castlestands proudly at the top of the street.• Skipton River cruise on one of the country’sbest-known inland waterways.• Visit to Haworth, home of the famous Brontesisters and their notorious brother. Little haschanged in the village since they lived at theParsonage.• We enjoy a steam train ride along the delightfulWorth Valley, following the locations used inthe film ‘The Railway Children’.• Visit to Bolton Abbey set in a beautiful andtranquil location alongside the River Wharfe,surrounded by moorland, woodland andriverside - a truly inspirational setting for many.• Bolton Abbey station for a ride on the steamtrain to Embsay through the beautiful Dales.

Monday
After breakfast we depart for home.
