Today is free for you to explore anddiscover Bournemouth. This afternoon atthe hotel you will enjoy a lovely Cream Tea –consisting of tea/coffee, two scones, creambutter and jam.
Wednesday
After breakfast we visitDorchester, the county town of Dorset andthe fictional town ‘Casterbridge’ of Hardy’snovels. Later we head to Weymouth along thecoast road through Abbotsbury, home of thefamous Swannery. Weymouth is a resort withlots of character, maybe take a stroll alongthe Esplanade or explore the interestingharbour area.
Thursday
Salisbury’s history dates back tothe Iron Age, but it is best known for havingthe tallest cathedral spire in England alongwith a well-preserved medieval town withmany wooden buildings. We continue past theancient and mystical Stonehenge on our wayto Shaftesbury, a picturesque village.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.
