Picturebook Kent & Leeds Castle

We depart and make our way to Kent and arriving in the afternoon at our hotel for the next 4 nights stay with dinner, bed and breakfast.

During your stay
• Canterbury - the city is dominated by the magnificent cathedral, now a World Heritage Site. The city centre, being very compact, is best explored on foot. There is a maze of intriguing side streets with a rich variety of specialist shops and welcoming cafes and pubs in which to relax.• We visit Leeds Castle, set on two islands on the River Len and home to generations of lords and ladies for over 1000 years. We are transported through years of the castle’s history in a sumptuous mix of period architecture, impressive interiors and family treasures.• We visit Royal Tunbridge Wells which lies in the heart of the beautiful High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The historic spa town has welcomed visitors for over 400 years.• The town of Rochester with its magnificent cathedral and historic castle. Take a stroll along High Street and explore the old town and cobbled streets.• We journey to Walmer Castle & Gardens. Built on the order of King Henry VII to defend England’s Southern shores, the castle later became home to both the Duke of Wellington and more recently the Queen Mother.

Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.
