Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich
Visitor Centre, The Painted Hall and festive concert in the Chapel of St Peter and St Paul
With exciting activities for all ages, discover the story of Sir Christopher Wren's riverside masterpiece and those who lived and worked here. You can also enjoy locally sourced quality British food at The Old Brewery.
The permanent exhibition houses several historical artifacts. Sir Christopher Wren and Nicholas Hawksmoor's design models of the buildings, presented to the Royal Hospital for Seamen's royal patrons, are housed here, as well as archaeological finds from the old Tudor palace. You can also see naval uniforms and archive footage of the site from the days of the Royal Naval College.
The beautiful Chapel of St Peter & St Paul at the Old Royal Naval College is regarded as one of the finest neo-classical interiors. This Christmas, you will be able to enjoy a festive concert in the Chapel, delivered by award-winning Trinity Laban Chapel Choir, with the chance to join in and sing some of your festive favourites.
Included in the visit, there is entry to the Painted Hall, known as the 'Sistine Chapel of the UK' with its magnificent 3,700 square metres of walls and ceilings, depicting 200 figures including kings, queens and mythological creatures, as well as access to our 2025 winter art installation.
