We depart and make our way north and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast and entertainment each evening.
During your stay:
We head to the Beamish ‘Living Museum of the North,’ where we step back in time and see how people lived and worked in the late 19th and early 20th Century. Staff in period dress add to the amazing atmosphere as they tell their story and guide you through living history. After all this excitement, you can even relax in the Sun Inn, a good old-fashioned pub or take a trip to the traditional tea room.A leisurely morning in Newcastle-upon-Tyne with the opportunity to explore the city. There is plenty to see and do including the famous shopping on Northumberland Street.Excursion to the ancient and historic city of Durham, acclaimed as a World Heritage Site and dominated by the magnificent Norman cathedral and castle, high above the River Wear. The day is free toexplore the city and its sights, history and delicious food/drink offering!
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.
