New Year In The Peak District Gold

Wednesday
We depart and make our way to the Peak District, arriving late afternoon at Shrigley Hall Hotel for the next 3 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast. Upon arrival make yourself comfortable with a glass of fizz and a selection of chocolate truffles. Tonight, we enjoy dinner and entertainment.

New Years Eve
After breakfast we travel to the historic city of Chester with time to explore. The unique 2 storey ‘Rows’ of shops are worth a look or enjoy a stroll around the ancient Roman Walls. Before dinner tonight we are invited to meet our hosts with a drink reception and a selection of canapés before dinner. We bring in the New Year with a DJ playing tunes to help us dance the night away. As the clock strikes midnight, we will be able to look out for the fireworks across the Manchester Skyline.

New Years Day
Enjoy a lie-in and a lazy morning in the hotel and brunch is served with buck fizz. Afterwards we enjoy a short but scenic drive through the Peak District to visit the former Spa town of Buxton with its wealth of shops and lovely public gardens. We return to the hotel later for our farewell dinner followed by some light-hearted fun in the form of a New Years Quiz.

Saturday
After breakfast we depart for home.
