Monday
We depart and make our way to Salford Quays and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
Tuesday to Thursday
During your stay you will enjoy: • We board a river boat, taking in the Irwell and Manchester Ship Canal on a heritage cruise. We start at Salford Quays, on the Manchester Ship Canal before heading towards the city ofManchester and the River Irwell. Along the route, you will hear stories of the Emma Boat Tragedy (1828) and lifesaving hero, Mark Addy Salfordand the 16,000 navvies who dug out the canal.• Free time to enjoy Manchester at leisure.• The city of Liverpool, where we spend the day exploring. Perhaps you could visit the museums and attractions such as Albert Docks.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.
