We depart and make our way to EastAnglia arriving late afternoon where we enjoythe next 4 nights stay with dinner, bed andbreakfast.
We begin today with a ride throughpicturesque villages to Snape and Aldeburgh,where we take a break. Later we head forSouthwold, a charmingly old fashioned seasidetown. From here we return south to Woodbridgewith an attractive market place and later wereturn to the hotel.
This morning we begin with a driveto Newmarket taking us to The Palace House.The National Heritage Centre for Horseracingand Sporting Art celebrates the town’s status asan historic home of this great sport.
For our final day out we head first forthe historic town of Lavenham with prettycoloured houses and Guildhall where we havetime to explore and enjoy a coffee before wemove on to Stowmarket. Here we visit theinteresting Museum of East Anglian life which isan open air museum set in 80 acres of countryside with over 45000 objects exploringthe area’s rural and social history with the newlyrestored Abbot’s Hall a special feature. The OsierCafé is an ideal place for a drink and bite to eat.
After breakfast we leave and begin ourhomeward journey
