We depart and make our way toLincolnshire arriving late afternoon at ourhotel with tea/coffee served on arrival.

Leaving the hotel after breakfast,we head over the Humber Bridge to Beverleya historic market town with its own uniquecharacter. We then journey through thebeautiful countryside via Market WeightonNorthbald back to the Humber Bridge and onto our hotel.

We begin today with a drivethrough the Lincolnshire Wolds to the villageof Coningsby where we visit the Battleof Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre.Located within the boundaries of RAFConingsby the site offers a nostalgic look atthose dark days of long ago. Whilst here weenjoy a guided tour of the hangar before weare on our way to Tattershall Castle, risingproudly from the flat Lincolnshire Fens, the castle was designed to display wealth andpower, with huge Gothic fireplaces.

Today we visit the historic cityof Lincoln where we meet our guide for afamiliarisation tour of the city by coach.You then have free time to explore. The oldtown is a labyrynth of little alleyways andinteresting shops - there are plenty of tearooms to keep you going. We return to thehotel with time to relax before dinner.

After breakfast we depart for home.
