Monday
We depart and make our way to Kent arriving late afternoon for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• The lovely village of Chilham with its many halftimbered houses and castle which has been the location for many TV programmes and films.• Canterbury and its dominating cathedral.• We visit the town of Rochester with its magnificent cathedral and historic castle.• Chatham and the famous Historic Naval Dockyard. This vast maritime heritage site offers the visitor much to see, with an abundance of historic buildings dating from 1704, three warships, dry docks, the Royal Dockyard Museum, and much more.• Maidstone, where you have time to explore the town before our afternoon visit to magnificent Leeds Castle with around 900 years of history.

After breakfast we depart for home.

The Mercure Great Danes Hotel, Maidstone, is set in 26 acres of private grounds, with an extensive Health and Leisure Club, including indoor pool, sauna and solarium and all bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
