We depart for the north and our hotel for the next 4 nightswith dinner, bed & breakfast.
During your stay
• Excursion through the Pennines Countryside to Stanhope & Alston.• A ride on the South Tynedale Railway.• Hexham, with its historic Abbey.• Morpeth on Market Day! We have time to explore the town, browse the market stalls.• Bellingham and Kielder Water where enjoy a cruise around the lake. (Not available on October tour).• Excursion to the ancient and historic City of Durham, acclaimed as a World Heritage Siteand dominated by the magnificent Norman Cathedral and Castle.• Visit to Barnard Castle – known as ‘Barny’ to the locals – and Bowes Museum, just outsidethe town.

After breakfast we depart for home.

interior is every bit as impressive as its
exterior. All bedrooms are en suite with
