We depart for the north and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed & breakfast.
During your stay
• Excursion through the Pennines Countryside to Stanhope & Alston.• A ride on the South Tynedale Railway.• Hexham, with its historic Abbey.• Morpeth on Market Day! We have time to explore the town, browse the market stalls.• Bellingham and Kielder Water where enjoy a cruise around the lake. (No Cruise on October tours).• Excursion to the ancient and historic City of Durham, acclaimed as a World Heritage Siteand dominated by the magnificent Norman Cathedral and Castle.• Visit to Barnard Castle – known as ‘Barny’ to the locals - and Bowes Museum, just outside the town.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.

The BW Premier Collection Derwent Manor
hotel is set in 20 acres of land and the
interior is every bit as impressive as its
exterior. All bedrooms are en suite with
TV and tea/coffee making facilities and an
indoor pool, sauna and fitness centre. The
hotel has a lift.
