Monday
We depart and make our way to Harrogate, arriving late afternoon at our hotel the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• Visit to the Royal Pump Rooms Museum to find out why Charles Dickens said that ‘Harrogate is the queerest place with the strangest people in it, leading the oddest lives’.• Embsay where we take a return steam train through picturesque Yorkshire Dales scenery.• Hawes, home to world famous Wensleydale cheese and we visit the factory and watch one of the cheeses being made.• A drive to Skipton and a trip on the Skipton Canal with a rib-tickling commentary by Dave Spikey and tea and a biscuit included• Visit to Pateley Bridge where we visit the Nidderdale Museum• Free time to explore Harrogate at leisure.
Friday
After breakfast we head for home.
