Monday
We depart and make our way north toarrive at our hotel for the 4 nights on anall-inclusive basis.
Tuesday
After breakfast we depart for our tour ofthe Trossachs, calling first to Lock Katrine wherewe enjoy a soup and sandwich lunch at theBrenachoile Restaurant before making our way toCallander, a bustling tourist town situated on theRiver Teith, near Stirling, and is often described asthe gateway to the Highlands. We return back toour hotel and after dinner this evening there willbe a weaponry display with storytelling.
Wednesday
Today we explore the other side ofLoch Lomond and take the breath-taking routeover the ‘Rest and be Thankful’ to the RoyalBurgh of Inveraray where you have time toexplore. Today a packed lunch has been provided.Back at the hotel, this evening we have a ScottishShow with bagpipes, haggis and Highlanddancing.
Thursday
Today we set off for the delightful 16thcentury Duntreath Castle at Blanefield. You willbe met by Lady Edmonstone and Sir Archie whowill show you around their wonderful home.Afterwards, morning coffee and home baking isprovided followed by time on your own to explorethe castle, grounds and the Keep. Back at thehotel, a late lunch of soup and sandwiches isprovided and the afternoon is yours to exploreDrymen or just relax by the fire. This evening, wehave live music to entertain.
Friday
Sadly we must depart and begin ourhomeward journey.

The Winnock Hotel
The Picturesque 18th Century Winnock Hotel is
nestled in the centre of the hillside village of
Drymen, near the shores of Loch Lomond and the
Trossachs National Park where mountains and
moorlands, lush green forests, bubbling brooks and
tranquil lakes provide a backdrop to a refreshing
break. The hotel does not have a lift.
