An early start for Dover and the ferry toCalais then on to France for our overnight withdinner, bed and breakfast.
We continue to Rocamadour and our hotelfor the next 5 nights with dinner, bed breakfast.
Day Three to Day Six
• A guided walking tour of Rocamadour where themain shopping street has a number of charmingrestaurants and quirky boutiques.• Visit to the old town of Cahors, built on apeninsula by the River Lot and symbolised by theValentré Bridge built in the 14th century, (today aUNESCO World Heritage Site).• St Cirq La Popie, perched on a cliff above theRiver Lot, is known as one of the “most beautifulvillages in France”.• Scenic drive to Sarlat-la-Caneda where you canexplore the enchanting alleyways, cobbledstreets and picturesque squares.• Dordogne River Cruise on a ‘gabarre’ areproduction of an 18th century barge, originallyused to transport barrels of wine from thevineyards running along the length of the river.• Visit to the internationally renowned LascauxCaves said to be like entering a mini museum inrock. The works include mainly animal depictionsbut there are many symbols and signs that arestill a mystery today.• Guided tour of Turenne and entrance to theChateau Vicomte.
We depart and make our way to Orleansfor our overnight with dinner, bed & breakfast.
We head towards Calais for our returnferry then onwards to the West Country.

300 metres from the town's castle. All bedrooms
are en suite with TV, telephone and hairdryer.
