Monday
We depart and make our way toLancashire and our hotel for the next 4 nightswith dinner, bed and breakfast, with tea/coffeeand biscuits served on arrival.
Tuesday
This morning we leave and ride around Pendle Hill, haunt of the notirious Pendle Witches of long ago, and head for the village of Foulridge, near Colne, wherewe join the Marton Emperor for a relaxing canal cruise through delighful scenery. Afterwards we make our way through theForest of Bowland to Slaidburn and Clitheroe.We take a break here and have time for lunchand, today being market day we have the chanceto browse around the stalls and find a bargain.
Wednesday
Our first visit today is to famous‘Ossie Mills’ at Oswaldtwistle – a uniqueand vast complex with a variety of shops,restaurants and much more. This afternoonwe visit the historic Samlesbury Hall afabulous half-timbered black and whitemedieval house built in 1325 as a familyhouse. A guided tour brings history to life andtells tales of intrigue and witchcraft throughthe centuries.

After breakfast we leave and begin ourjourney home.
