Donegal is in the North West corner of Ireland,
a long deeply indented coast that is still relatively unspoilt.
Our tour will be centred in the pretty little town of
Ballyshannon in a region where many old customs and
traditions live on and the Irish language can still be heard.
At the northernmost tip of Ireland we will see the uncanny
rock formations which legend tells was once the
'Giants Causeway' linking Scotland and Ireland.

Day 1
We make our way to Pembroke wherewe board the ferry and cross the Irish Sea. Onarrival in Ireland we journey to our overnighthotel in Wexford with dinner, bed andbreakfast
Day 2
Departing after breakfast we makeour way for a stop in Kilkenny before travelingto Ballyshannon and the Dorrians ImperialHotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bedand breakfast.
Day 3
Today enjoy a day at leisure withtime to relax in this friendly little town.
Day 4
We depart after breakfast for aspectacular tour of the Giant’s Causeway. Herewe will visit the Causeway visitors centre toinvestigate the magical legends of FinnMacCoul.
Day 5
Today we take a tour of thestunning Donegal Bay travelling first toRossnowlagh, the ‘Heavenly Cove’ beforetaking the coastal route to the port ofKillybegs, a major centre for the Irish fishingindustry. We continue through Slieve Leaguewhere we reach Glencoltimbkille with its folkvillage where the lifestyle of three centuries ofIrish cottage life may be seen. Climbing intothe Donegal Highlands we drive through thespectacular 900ft Glengash Pass to Ardara,a tweed and hand knitting centre.
Day 6
We bid farewell to Ballyshannon andtravel back to Wexford for our overnight hotelwith dinner bed and breakfast.
Day 7
After an early breakfast we departfor the port where we board the ferry backto Pembroke. On arrival we journey homearriving in the evening.

The hotel in Ballyshannon is probably
Ireland's oldest purpose built hotel. Family
run and totally refurbished to provide
spacious modern accommodation it still
retains its period style.
All bedrooms have private facilities, TV
and tea/ coffee making facilities. The hotel
has a lift.
