Today we explore Oxford, known as the ‘City of the DreamingSpires’ – a term first coined by poet Matthew Arnold in reference to thegentle spires and harmonious architecture of the city’s university buildings.Popular attractions include beautiful riverside settings, stunning film andTV locations and shops with local character, restaurants, pubs and theatres.
Today we head into the southern Cotswolds where thiswonderful scenic tour takes in some of the most perfect picture-postcardvillages of middle England. We arrive at Stow-on the-Wold then on toBourton-on-the-Water, a renowned Cotswold village.
After breakfast we depart and head for homePlease note this tour involves lots of walking.
