Staying at the Ivy Bush Hotel with dinner bed and breakfast

Carmarthen is reputed to be the birthplace of the legendary wizard Merlin and has the distinction of being Wales' oldest town. It stands on a bluff above the River Towy which runs from the Black Mountains down into Carmarthen Bay. Nearby the National Botanical Gardens of Wales and the historic Aberglasney Gardens are well worth a visit as well as the many majestic medieval castles which dominate the landscape of West Wales.

The town itself has a large leisure centre and the area offers a choice of golf courses, river and lake fishing, walking and rambling and areas of outstanding beauty.

You will travel to Camarthen via the Gower Peninsula and The Mumbles and check into your hotel for a 1 night stay with dinner, bed & breakfast. Free time to relax and go off and explore.

After breakfast we check out of our hotel and have free time. In the late afternoon we then continue and head back for home.
