We depart and make our way toCambridge and our hotel for the next 4 nightswith dinner, bed and breakfast with tea/coffeeand biscuits served on arrival.
This morning we are off to the famousUniversity City of Cambridge for a fascinatingguided tour after which the day is free toexplore.
Leaving the hotel we head for BurySt Edmunds where it is market day with some 60stalls for you to browse. Later visit the beautifulAbbey Gardens and stroll through the groundsand perhaps obtain lunch. There is also free timeto visit some of the 200 shops within the townand then we have a cream tea and scones(included) before heading back to the hotel.
y Our first visit today is to thecelebrated gardens at Anglesey Abbey, with itssweeping avenues, classical statuary and flowerborders, all offering captivating views andcolours. We also visit the historic workingwatermill before we are on our way to the City of Ely for our guided tour of this magnificentcathedral, with free time before we return to thehotel.
After breakfast we leave and begin ourjourney home.
