We depart and make our way toPenzance to arrive at our hotel with tea/coffeeand biscuits served on arrival.
Our day begins with a drive toMarazion, where we see majestic St Michael’sMount, topped by a 14th century castle andthen on to Helston followed by the delights ofFalmouth where there is a large selection ofshops, cafes, restaurants, cobbled alleyways,ancient inns and of course the harbourside.
A ride to St Just and WestCornwall takes us to St Ives, haunt of artists andone of Cornwall’s best loved resorts. Lateafternoon we return to Penzance.
The Cornish ‘Capital’ – Truro, is ourfirst visit where the cobbled pedestrianised citycentre is dominated by the magnificentcathedral. Explore the city, particularly LemonQuay – a cobbled continental style square withcafes and obtain lunch before we have a ride tothe picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey forthe afternoon.
After breakfast we leave and begin ourjourney home.
