Enchanting Bavaria - Winter Wonderland Gold

Sunday
An early start for Dover and the ferry to Calais. On arrival we travel to Metz for our overnight with bed and breakfast.

Monday
After breakfast, we continue our journey through Germany and into the heart of Bavaria. We arrive to a warm welcome from our hosts, and time to settle in before dinner and an evening at leisure.

During your stay
A scenic journey through the Bavarian Forest, passing in the shadow of Großer Arber, the region’s highest mountain range, to Joska Crystal Adventure World where we experience a fascinating glass blowing demonstration.• A horse drawn carriage ride followed by a visit to a local ski hut for live musical entertainment.• Guided walk around the city of Passau, where the confluences of three rivers meet - Danube, Inn & Ilz. Enchanting promenades surround St Stephen’s Cathedral which houses one of the world’s largest organ with 17,000 pipes. • Candlelit torch guided walk around the village followed by warming mulled wine.• We visit a local Alpaca Farm including coffee and cake.

Friday
We travel back to Metz for our overnight with bed and breakfast.

Saturday
We head towards Calais for our return ferry crossing to Dover and onward journey back to the West Country
