We depart and make our way to Cumbria and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast. Enjoy tea/coffee and hot cross buns served on arrival.

Free day to explore the town of Kendal - Enjoy some retail therapy or just sit, relax and watch the world go by.• Visit to Ambleside, Lake Thirlmere and Keswick on the shore of Derwentwater.• Journey through Kendal to Lake Windermere and Bowness with time to look around .• Cruise along the lake to the southern tip at Lakeside.• Journey on the delightful Lakeside and Haverthwaite steam train.

After breakfast we depart for home.

The Shap Wells Hotel is set in tranquil surroundings amongst the Lakeland fells and is an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful corner of England. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, radio, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel lift serves most floors.
