We depart and make our way to Durham and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• We travel the short distance to Beamish, the world-famous living museum of the North, where you will step back in time to life in Northeast England during the 1820s, 1900s, 1940s and 1950s.• A day at leisure to enjoy historic Durham. As our hotel is located near the centre of the city, there is plenty to see and do within a short walk of the hotel.• Barnard Castle. In this little town you can see where Dickens immortalised ‘Dothboys Hall’, take a look at Cromwell’s refuge, browse around the antique shops or visit the castle itself, highabove the Tees.• We visit Raby Castle one of the finest Medieval Castles to remain in Britain and the resident home of the Vane family since 1626.
Friday
After breakfast we leave and begin our journey home.
