We depart and make our way to Cumbria, arriving late afternoon at our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast with tea/coffee and biscuits served on arrival.

During your stay
• Visit to Kielder Water and Forest Park then on to Bellingham and Hexham, dominated by the Abbey overlooking the market square.• Hadrian’s Wall, stretching some 76 miles from the Tyne to the Solway.• Enjoy a train journey in Carlisle following the Cumbrian coastline to Ravenglass where we join the Ravenglass and Eskdale - ‘ La’al Ratty’ steam train in the Lake District National Park.• We travel to the Yorkshire Dales to Kirkby Lonsdale, and the weekly market. Then on past Ribblehead Viaduct, through charming Hortonin-Ribblesdale to Settle.• Enjoy the most spectacular train journey on a main line railway in the whole of England – the famous Settle to Carlisle line.
