Monday
We depart for the Lake District arriving late afternoon. Enjoy a glass of chilled bubbly before dinner this evening followed by entertainment
Christmas Eve
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then maybe take a stroll to Grange Promenade. A light lunch is served at the hotel and after we will enjoy a visit to Ambleside. Entertainment follows dinner this evening.
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Enjoy a hearty breakfast and time to relax. Your traditional Christmas lunch will be accompanied by a glass of Bucks Fizz and a visit from Santa followed by the King's speech. later we have tea/coffee and a Christmas cake, and your evening meal is a relaxed affair in the form of a Buffet followed by entertainment
Boxing Day
After breakfast this morning we visit the pretty Cumbrian villages and towns of Bowness, Windermere and Ulverston. We return to the hotel for a light lunch and entertainment. Time to relax before a carvery style dinner and final evening of entertainment.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.

The Shap Wells Hotel is set in 30 acres of tranquil surroundings amongst the Lakeland Fells. The hotel offers a choice of lounges and a spacious restaurant. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, radio, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
