Christmas In South West Wales

Monday
We depart and make our to Wales arriving late afternoon at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel where a welcoming cream tea awaits. Enjoy fizzy cocktails and canapés with your fellow guests followed by dinner. Entertainment is provided each evening during your stay.

Christmas Eve
After breakfast we enjoy a ride out to the Gower Peninsular - the scenery is beautiful whatever time of year. We then visit Mumbles on Swansea Bay before we have time in Swansea itself for lastminute shopping. This evening after dinner we have Christmas carols by the piano. For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass St Peter’s Church is just a short walk away and well worth a visit.

Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Join Father Christmas for coffee and unwrap your presents around the tree. Lunch on this day is always special, with traditional roast turkey and all the seasonal trimmings. Afterwards spend a relaxing afternoon around the hotel, with board games available and tea and cake after the King’s speech. Tonight, we have an informal buffet dinner followed by a film.

Boxing Day
We visit Saundersfoot and the ancient walled town of Tenby, one of South Wales’ best-known resorts. Explore the town, with its many little side streets or take a stroll to the harbour. We return to the hotel for lunch. After dinner we have our final night of entertainment.

Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.
