Tuesday
We depart for the Lake District arriving late afternoon to a welcome drink and shortbread. Time to settle in before dinner this evening.
Christmas Eve
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then we make our way to Bowness, delightfully located on the shores of Lake Windermere. Time to explore before we make our way back to the hotel before dinner.
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Enjoy a hearty breakfast and time to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities. Your traditional Christmas lunch will be served followed by the King’s speech. Your evening meal is a relaxedaffair in the form of a Gourmet Buffet.
Boxing Day
After breakfast this morning, we depart mid-morning for a drive around the top of Lake Windermere on the way to Hawkshead. This popular little village has lots of interest, with little alleyways to explore.We return to the hotel in time for a quiz then our final evening meal.
Saturday
After breakfast we depart for home.

Stonecross Manor Hotel is located close to the centre of Kendal and an ideal base to explore the Lake District. Leisure facilities include a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and experience room and all bedrooms are en suite with TV, iron, ironing board and tea/coffee making facilities.
