We depart and make our way north to our hotel for the next4 nights with dinner, bed & breakfast.
During your stay
• A scenic journey through the Peak Districttowards Castleton where we stop for time toexplore and relax.• Fantastic Lyme Park and its House &Gardens, the backdrop for some of thefilming of ‘Pride and Prejudice’. Step back intime to the Regency era - a time which sawgreat rejuvenation for Lyme. Enjoy lavishinteriors, try out the billiards table in theLong Gallery or read a book in the library.• We travel south east to the historic markettown of Newark-on-Trent where it is marketday so have a browse around the stalls, seeNewark Castle or search for a bargain in oneof the many antique shops.• Gainsborough Old Hall, a large, late medievalmanor house built around 1460. See theoriginal kitchen and imposing Great Hallwhere Richard II and Henry VIII once stood!• We head to Chesterfield, with the famousCrooked Spire of St Mary’s Church – how didit happen?• Visit to Bolsover Castle, set on a hilltopoverlooking the Vale of Scarsdale, the 17thcentury fantasy castle offers panoramicviews, brilliantly restored interiors and a café.

After breakfast we depart for home.
