We depart and make our way to Rockingham and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• A ride around Rutland Water as we head for historic Stamford. Take a walk around the historic town – there is much to admire, from the beautiful architecture to the delightful shops with an abundance of coffee shops and pubs to keep you going.• Barnsdale Gardens, familiar to many TV viewers as home of the late Geoff Hamilton, and Gardeners World.• A cruise on the Grand Union Canal, seeing the Foxton flight of 10 locks, gently passing through peaceful countryside.• Visit to Boughton House which in 2012 hosted the cast of the Oscar winning film ‘Les Miserables’ and was featured in several scenes.• Visit to one of England’s most historic beloved institutions, founded in the 14th Century - The Loughborough Bell Foundry has been making bells for parish churches and cathedrals alike ever since. It has cast more than 25,000 bells hung in the cathedrals, churches, universities and public buildings of over 100 countries.• The English town of Melton Mowbray.

The Rockingham Forest Hotel is pleasantly situated just outside the pretty Northamptonshire village of Rockingham,just a short distance from ancient Rockingham Castle.All bedrooms are en suite, and have satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
The hotel does not have alift as all bedrooms are ground and first flooronly.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
