We depart and make our way to Plymouth and on to our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• We journey to Pencarrow House and Gardens. A Georgian mansion that is still lived in by the same family who settled here in the 1500s. We enjoy a guided tour of the house learning the history and heritage of the Molesworth family.• The popular seaside town of Looe - a bustling working fishing port.• A free day for you to explore the historic city of Plymouth. Take a stroll around the famous Hoe, visit The Barbican Steps and Mayflower Steps or browse around the city centre shops.• Drive over rugged Bodmin Moor and stop at Jamaica Inn with its Daphne Du Maurier associations and a museum filled with smuggling artefacts collected over many years.• Tintagel with its dramatic castle ruins, and the pretty harbour at Port Isaac, the setting for TV’s Doc Martin.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.
