We depart and make our way to Derbyshire and our hotel where we enjoy the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• Visit to Matlock for some free time before we leave for our visit to Haddon Hall – probably the finest example of a fortified medieval manor house still in existence.• Sheffield & Renishaw Hall – Explore Sitwell family home, Italianate gardens, statues, ponds, woodlands, and a collection including Cecil Beaton’s work.• De Bradelei Mill, Belper – Visit shopping village in historic Derwent Valley mill, dating back to the Industrial Revolution.•Visit to Calke Abbey - a Grade I listed country house near Ticknall, Derbyshire, England, in the care of the charitable National Trust.
