Whitby © Pixabay - HallmackenreutherDay 1 Morning departure for the journey north and to the seaside town of Whitby for a four night stay.
Day 2 A day at leisure in Whitby to explore this traditional maritime town featuring historic cobbled streets, picturesque houses, blue flag beaches, galleries and museums.
Day 3 This morning you will head to Pickering, a small town packed with a wealth of heritage including a castle, a heritage railway with its 1930’s themed station and a church with world-renown frescoes. Time to explore before joining the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Enjoy a real step back in time as you travel the 24 miles of amazing scenery on the journey back to Whitby.
Day 4 Today you will be taken through part of the North York Moors National Park by way of Danby to Thirsk. After a short break you will continue the journey through the scenic moors by way of Helmsley and Hutton-le-Hole, arriving at the seaside town of Scarborough for free time to explore.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
