Day 1 Morning departure to travel to the North West arriving at the hotel late afternoon.

Day 2 Start with a visit to Dunham Massey, home to one of the largest winter gardens in the UK. Snowdrops are one of the first signs of life in gardens after the long winter months and a welcome sign that spring will soon be on its way. Designed with the help of plantsman Roy Lancaster OBE, the garden is home to over 1600 winter shrubs, trees and evergreens chosen for their scent, colour and texture. Next visit RHS Bridgewater with free time to explore the gardens. Opened in 2021 on the former site of Worlsey New Hall, the 154 acre garden has been transformed into ‘gardens with a garden’ blending history with world class horticulture.

Day 3 Journey to Ordsall Hall for a guided tour and refreshments. As well as having two acres of organically managed gardens, the hall has a long and interesting history with many different uses and home to some interesting residents since it was first mentioned in records in 1177! Enjoy a hot drink and biscuits before travelling the short distance to Salford Quays for a visit before returning to the hotel.

Day 4 After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
