Windsor Castle, Gardens And Cruise

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Windsor where we have included entrance to the amazing Windsor Castle, the family home to British kings and queens for over 1,000 years and today one of the official residences of HisMajesty the King. The size of the castle is breath-taking and is the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world. You will need approx. 3 hours to see it all. You could take a stroll through the Great Windsor Park or meander around the town before arriving at the hotel for a one night stay

Day 2 After breakfast you will check-out of the hotel and travel to Runnymede for a 2 hour cruise through the “back garden” of Windsor Castle with views of the Castle, Royal Farm and Queen Adelaide’s Cottage. The boat will pass through Old Windsor Lock and the village of Datchet, before turning at Romney Lock. Enjoy views from the upper deck before moving to the comfortable saloon, where you will be served a Ploughman’s lunch. Afterwards travel to Savill Garden, a 35 acre haven of gardens, woodland and seasonal displays and part of the Windsor Great Park. Free time to enjoy the gardens before the coach will depart at 16.00 hours to commence the homeward journey.
