This South Wales tour is based in Cardiff, a port city where the River Taff meets the Severn Estuary. The revitalized waterfront at Cardiff Bay includes the Wales Millennium Centre and many other exciting buildings.

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Wales and to Cardiff for a four night stay.
Day 2 A tour into the Brecon Beacons National Park – steeped in history, magnificent in its natural beauty and with stunning scenery.
Day 3 The Rhondda Heritage Park, based at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery Trehafod, is one of the top heritage and cultural visitor attractions in South Wales. Your first port of call is the Visitor Centre, with its gallery, restaurant, and period re-constructed street. Then enjoy a fully guided tour with an ex-miner that will include a tour of the pit head buildings and a trip ‘underground’ to experience the life of a coal miner.
Day 4 A day at leisure in Cardiff – a city of attractions, culture and entertainment. Visit the National Museum and the Cardiff Story Museum and find out about Cardiff’s local history or perhaps a visit to Cardiff Bay’s maritime heritage at Y Pierhead.
Day 5 Leaving your hotel you travel the short distance to St Fagans National History Museum. After an enjoyable visit rejoin the coach for the homeward journey.
