Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Llandrindod Wells, arriving late afternoon at the Metropole Hotel for a four night stay.Day 2 Travel to the beautiful Elan Valley set in a fabulous location against a spectacular backdrop of a Victorian stone dam. On arrival a Ranger will board the coach and take you on 90 minute guided tour of the Estate which includes entrance into the Visitor Centre. There is a café where you will be able to obtain refreshments during your visit. You will return to Llandrindod Wells for free time to explore with a good range of independent shops, cafes and things to see.
Day 3 Today you will travel to the seaside town of Aberystwyth, the biggest town in Mid Wales with a mile long Victorian promenade and oldest pier in Wales. Time to explore and enjoy lunch in one of the many eateries before boarding the train for a one hour ride on the Vale of Rheidol Railway, a heritage narrow gauge to Devil’s Bridge. A short walk from the terminus gets you to the spectacular Mynach Falls. Time for a coffee before boarding the coach to return to the hotel.
Day 4 Today you will journey through the beautiful and diverse scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park with free time to explore the medieval town of Brecon and we have included a relaxing cruise on the historic Monmouthshire and Brecon canal.

The hotel is located in the centre of the historic spa town of Llandrindod Wells, in the beautiful heart of Wales.
