Caldey Abbey by Gareth Lovering - FlickrDay 1 Morning departure for the journey to Wales and to the resort of Tenby for a four night stay
Days 2 to 4 A day at leisure to enjoy the delights of Tenby, with magnificent beaches, shops and restaurants huddled within medieval walls amongst narrow streets that run down to the busy harbour. Weather permitting, take a boat trip to the nearby monastic island of Caldey. We have included the following excursions:
Enjoy a scenic drive, exploring some of the lesser-known places in this picturesque area.
- This day tour takes you to Britain’s smallest cathedral city of St. David’s that lies on the River Alun on St David’s Peninsula and is the final resting place of the patron saint of Wales, St David. You will then visit the Lovespoon Workshop, specialists in Welsh Lovespoons since 1969. They were carved to record various special occasions, including, engagements, anniversaries, weddings and births. You will also visit Saundersfoot with time to explore the harbour and beach and enjoy a cuppa before returning to the hotel.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
