Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to the historic city of Worcester for a lunch stop. Leaving mid afternoon continue the short journey to the hotel for the four night stay.
Day 2 Today you will make your way to Shakespeare's Stratford-Upon- Avon, making a short photo stop at Anne Hathaway's idyllic cottage, Shakespeare's wife. Afterwards enjoy a 45 minute cruise along the River Avon, taking in the many sights and hearing about some of the history. The remainder of the day will be free to do as you please in this lovely town.
Day 3 Travel the short journey to Warwick Castle, which sits on a scenic bend on the River Avon and was built by William the Conqueror in 1065. Free time will also be given to look around the town before returning to the hotel late afternoon.
Day 4 Today you will set off on a wonderful scenic drive into the beautiful Cotswolds Countryside. Your first stop is Stow-on-the-Wold, a quintessential English town with mellow Cotswold stone buildings, a fine selection of shops, chic bistros, Cotswold inns and cosy tea shops. Continuing through the countryside you will enjoy an extended stop in Bourton-on-the-Water. The afternoon stop is at Burford, with a broad main High Street lined with old houses, cottages and shop fronts which appear to have changed little for hundreds of years. Returning to your hotel by way of the rolling scenery of the Cotswolds hills.
Day 5 After breakfast travel to Waddesdon Manor a French Renaissance-style château, built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild between 1874 and 1885 to display his collection of arts and to entertain the fashionable world.
Leaving at 15.00 hrs to commence the journey home.
