Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Cirencester, Capital of the Cotswolds for a lunchtime stop before continuing on the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 Journey to Birmingham's famous Frankfurt Christmas Market - the UK's largest German authentic market outside of Germany. Brimming with festive food, mulled wine, handmade gifts and live music to bring festive cheer.
Day 3 Today make the journey to Hanbury Hall, a joyful throwback to the 1970s and 80s with retro lights, tinsel, and classic hits bring a playful sparkle to this elegant Worcestershire retreat. Discover the grandeur of early Georgian life, with dramatic wall-paintings by Sir James Thornhill. Stroll through restored formal gardens by George London and enjoy the winter charm of the orchards, orangery and walled garden.
Day 4 First, we make the short journey into Stratford-upon-Avon where you will take a 60-minute gin tasting cruise. Travel along the canal to view sights such as the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Holy Trinity Church, and Shakespeare’s burial place. The skipper will share information about the river’s wildlife and the canal’s heritage, while you enjoy a tutored tasting of 3 award-winning crafted gin samples and a gin and tonic to drink in a souvenir glass to take home.
Day 5 After breakfast depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
