South Wales, Porthcawl

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to South Wales and to Porthcawl for a four night stay.

Day 2 You will travel along the coast by way of Port Talbot to Swansea, the city by the sea with an included visit to The National Waterfront Museum, that tells the human story of Welsh Industry and innovation. You will also visit Bracelet Bay and the Mumbles before returning to the hotel.

Day 3 A free day in Porthcawl. Just behind the seafront esplanade, you will find an exciting range of independent shops and cafés, alongside high street brands. On the harbour is the RNLI station and Wales’s oldest listed bonded warehouse, the Jennings Building, which is now a bustling waterside spot with cafés and restaurants. At lunchtime return to the hotel and you will be served a traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings and a possible visit from Santa. During the afternoon there will be games to play and tea/coffee and mince pies on offer.

Day 4 Today you will travel to the capital city of Wales, Cardiff and visit the newly redeveloped waterfront area. We have included a visit to the famous Cardiff Castle and then some free time to visit the Senedd, home of the National Assembly of Wales or the Welsh Millennium Centre which is worth a visit too.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey
