Itinerary

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey west and to St Mawes, Cornwall for a three or four night stay.

Day 2 This morning you will travel to the pretty fishing village of Mevagissey, famous for its colour-washed houses. You will then return to St Mawes for a free afternoon to explore your surroundings, take a stroll or just relax and have a coffee and take in the views.

Day 3 This morning you will make a visit to Cornish Gold and the Tolgus Mill exhibition to discover the history of the mines. Also, time to look at the jewellery shop, enjoy a cream tea or a Cornish pasty. In the afternoon you will see how seals are protected and looked after at the Seal Sanctuary, which has become the largest in the country. The sanctuary has nursery pools, rehabilitation, convalescent and resident pools, and a specially designed hospital. We have included a cream tea.

Days 4 or 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.

NB: On the 5 day tour on Day 4 you will visit Marazion, an ancient market town and gateway to St Michael’s Mount. Time to visit local shops and galleries, superb beach, enjoy a coffee and look at the stunning views across the bay. Then the journey will take you to Land’s End on the headland that sits at the edge of the coastline with plenty of viewpoints, restaurants and souvenir shops.
