South Cornwall - St Mawes

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey west and to St Mawes, Cornwall for a three or four night stay.

Day 2 This morning you will travel to the pretty fishing village of Mevagissey, famous for its colour- washed houses. You will then return to St Mawes for a free afternoon to explore your surroundings, take a stroll or just relax and have a coffee and take in the views.

Day 3 This morning you will travel to the great little city of Truro. From all four corners of Truro you will be able to glimpse the three spires of the cathedral with its stunning Victoria stained glass windows are some of the finest in the country. Time to explore the city and have lunch before travelling to the Seal Sanctuary where you will see how the seals are protected. The sanctuary has nursery pools, rehabilitation unit, convalescent and resident pools and a specially designed hospital. We have included a cream tea for you to enjoy.

Day 4 On the 5 day tour you will visit Marazion, an ancient market town and gateway to St Michael’s Mount. Time to visit local shops and galleries, superb beach, enjoy a coffee and look at the stunning views across the bay. Then the journey will take you to Land’s End on the headland on the Penwith Peninsula with an array of sea birds to be seen from viewpoints. There is also a restaurant and souvenir shop.

Day 4/5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
