Cheddar Gorge photo by ArbronDay 1 Morning departure for the journey to Clarks Village in Street for some free time and lunch before arriving at the hotel nearby for a stay of four nights.
Day 2 Today the excursion takes you to Bath, a city full of cultural delights for you to explore and enjoy at your own pace.
Day 3 A day tour round the Mendip Hills through Cheddar Gorge to Wells, England’s smallest city, where there will be time to have some lunch, explore the town or visit the cathedral, the earliest English cathedral to be built in the Gothic style. Afterwards continue to Glastonbury, known for its ancient and medieval sites before returning to the hotel.
Day 4 A shorter excursion today to Kilver Court Gardens. You will see some unique planting schemes using colour and texture especially in the 100m colourist herbaceous border, formal parterre and subtropical island. You will also see one of the largest sculptures in the world, a breath-taking 15 metre-high Victorian viaduct. Make sure you visit the Garden Nursery and Wiggly Shed with its selection of indoor and outdoor plants. Enjoy lunch before returning to the hotel where tea and biscuits are on offer along with a game of bingo.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.r homeward journey.
