A break in the stunning city of York to enjoy the Christmas market, soak up the atmosphere and two days to shop and explore. We have also included a visit to Harewood House dressed for Christmas.

The Shambles York © VisitBritainDay 1 Morning departure for the journey north and to the hotel in York for a four night stay,
Days 2 and 3 Two full days In York. The city is transformed into a wonderland of glittering lights and Christmas music while the city’s markets are filled with stalls selling Christmas gifts and seasonal treats, visit the Shambles Markets and Parliament Square lined with wooden, alpine style chalets all beautifully decorated for Christmas. If you have enough of shopping, why not visit one of the many attractions York has to offer.
Day 4 This morning you will visit stunning Harewood House and the transformation of the ground floor of the house decorated for Christmas which continues below stairs too. Also visit the grounds enjoy some shopping and lunch before departing for Leeds, and as it is one of the UK’s best shopping destinations, it is the perfect place to do some more Christmas shopping. If shopping is not your thing, then perhaps explore some of the other attractions that Leeds has to offer.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey, making a visit en-route to Hatton Shopping Village, set in the rolling Warwickshire countryside, and forged out of Victorian farm buildings forty years ago. After lunch you will continue the journey home.

Your Holiday Hotel Queens Hotel York
Centrally located on the south bank of the River Ouse, just a short walk to the city centre. All bedrooms are en-suite with TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Lift, restaurant with views, and bar. There are ground floor rooms available on request.
NB: Hotel entrance is accessed by 10 steps but there is a chairlift available.
