Our tour is based in Clayton-le-Moors which is ideal to explore Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Itinerary
Itinerary
Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Clayton-le-Moors and the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 Today you will enjoy some Christmas cheer at Leighton Hall. On arrival you will enjoy coffee and mince pies followed by a tour of the hall, dressed for Christmas. Free time to have a wander round the hall at leisure and enjoy that there are no roped-off areas. You will then make the journey into Lancaster with its castle, museums and Town Hall for you to explore.
Day 3 Travel into Yorkshire and to the market town of Skipton for free time to explore the town and possibly visit Skipton Castle at the top of the High Street. After an early lunch you will travel by way of Settle, to the viewpoint to see the Ribblehead Viaduct with its magnificent 24 arches, 104 feet above the moor. Travel by way of Kirkby Lonsdale and back to the hotel.
Day 4 Today you will head to Barton Grange where you will join a canal boat for a one and quarter hour Christmas themed cruise including mince pie, coffee/tea and decorated boat whilst enjoying attractive countryside scenery and views of the Bowland Hills as well as the regular sightings of the canal resident bird life such as the herons, ducks, swans, and coots. Afterwards you travel to Southport and take a stroll along the famous Lord Street to do some early Christmas shopping and explore what the town has to offer.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
