Itinerary

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Harrogate for a four night stay.

Days 2 – 4 We have included the following excursions for you to enjoy:-

• Free day to explore Harrogate. With the hotel being centrally located, the Royal Pump Room, Valley Gardens, the famous Betty’s Tea Room and the delightful cobbled Montpellier Quarter housing art galleries, antique and vintage shops, jewellers, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars are all within a five minute walk.

• Today you will travel to Skipton, known as the ‘Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales’, for some free time to explore the town before boarding a traditional narrow boat for a 2 hour cruise on the Leeds and Liverpool canal. Sit back and enjoy a selection of freshly-made sandwiches, tea or coffee, a fruit scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream, along with an award-winning pork pie and sausage roll from Stanforth Butchers – a perfect savoury alternative to a traditional afternoon tea whilst travelling through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Afterwards you will travel back to Harrogate.

• Journey to York which is rich in history and renowned for its exquisite architecture, tangle of cobbled streets and the iconic York Minster. Time to explore before returning to the hotel.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey. Back to top
