Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north, and to Grange-over-Sands for a four night stay.

Days 2 to 4 Grange-over-Sands is a pretty resort with an Edwardian feel, mild climate and on the shores of Morecambe Bay. During your stay we have included the following excursions for your enjoyment:- ● Half day to the tiny village of Hawkeshead, with its higgledy-piggledy houses, archways and squares, loved by the poet William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. Returning to the hotel for lunch and a free afternoon to enjoy Grange-over-Sands. ● A scenic drive will take you to Coniston Water before continuing to the pretty village of Grasmere, Cumbria’s most popular village. Returning to the hotel for lunch before travelling to Kendal for the afternoon. ● A visit to Brantwood historic house, museum and the former home of John Ruskin with a fascinating insight of the last 28 years of his life spent in the Lakes. You will then travel along the shores of Ullswater and over the scenic Kirkstone Pass (subject to weather conditions) to Bowness for some free time.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
